It all ends soon...

Like many people my age, I've grown up reading the books and watching the films. It's become part of my life and it all comes to an end in a month. Like many around the world, I've read every book and watched every movie. I've watched the actors grow up and shared their experiences. But it all ends soon.

I have actually scored a ticket to the midnight launch of the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 which is something I'm extremely excited about. I know what is going to happen since I've read the book at least 3 times but I just want to see how they put the movie together and end the series.

I don't know how I will feel when the movie ends. I will be filled with joy knowing that every movie has been made but I will also be filled with sadness knowing that there are no more movies and this is really the end.

I'd like to say thank you to J.K Rowling for thinking of this marvelous story. Also to Warner Bros. for making the movies. But I'd most like to thank Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson and all the other brilliant actors who have brought the story to life.

I truly cannot wait to see the movie!

  3. I'm feeling the same way as you. It seems like it wasn't too long ago when I was reading all the books, then watching the movies. Now I'm in college and they are ending. It's sad, and kind of feels like a part of my youth will be gone.

  4. I lost interest after the 4th movie or so. I need to go back and watch them all from the beginning and get ready for this last one.

  5. It's always sad to let go of your childhood interests - or at least, to see them end for good. Looks like you were particularly attached.

    I'll be seeing it myself...

  8. All good things must come to an end. If you're looking for a good replacement series, though, I'd like to suggest R. A. Salvatore's Cleric Quintet.

  9. I loved reading the Harry Potter. When I bought the final book, I was excited, but also kind of sad that it all came to an end.

Props to JK Rowling though. So far she's resisted the Star Wars curse to turn the franchise into a cash cow.

  13. I hated Deathly Hallows: Part 1, but I think part 2 will be awesome, after all, it is the better, non-stop action half of the book...
